Past Events

Experimental Series: Midwifing a Wisdom Commons

Part One of our experimental series! In collaboration with Peter Limberg of The Stoa we met on April Fool’s Day (April 1st) at Alternity Cafe 333 Bloor St to create a wisdom commons, with an emphasis on exploring our foolishness.

Being and Becoming: Public Philosophy Soirée

Thank you for coming to our Philosophy Soirée and the official launch of Being and Becoming: A Community for the Curious on January 19th! We are so grateful that you joined us and contributed to the community we are building here in Toronto.

Check out the keynote speeches and panel Q&A on our YouTube channel.

Curiosity Café: Bi-weekly discussion on the questions that matter

Every two weeks, we invite members of our community to come out to the Madison Avenue Pub (14 Madison Ave) for Curiosity Café, a collaborative exploration of a chosen topic or question. Through these events, we aim to build our community of people who like to think deeply about life’s big questions, and provide each other with some philosophical tools to dig deeper into whatever it is we are most curious about that week.

Posters from our past Cafés are below. To read about the discussions we have, check out the recaps available in our newsletter.
